Assessment is one of the most important activities of the skills value chain. The Assessment shall be designed to test both knowledge and Skill in Trainees of skill development programme under Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’. All the Assessment shall have different sections to Test different aspects of a Trainee. This standard operating procedure lays down the step process to facilitate third party assessment and certification of trainees trained in skill development programme under Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Following are the major topics to be carried out by the Assessment and Certification agency during the assessment process:

1.   The Assessment and certification of the trainees of skill development programme under Assam Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board’ shall be   undertake by the Third party assessment body empanelled by the board
2.   The assessment agency shall conduct the assessment as per the standard approved by the Board
3.   The assessment agency shall start working on the assessment process from the time they receive work order from the Board
4.   The certificate provided to the Trainees shall carry the logos of board and the TSP on the Certificate
